Valletta

Valletta is the capital city of Malta which was built by the Order of St John in 1566. We will walk through the main streets of the city visiting the main sites like Barrakka gardens, Auberges of the Knights, Renzo Piano new parliament and city gate, St John’s Cathedral and Caravaggio paintings, Republic street, Grand Master’s Palace and any other place on request.

Marsaxlokk Fishing Village

Marsaxlokk is the most popular fishing village in Malta. Situated in the south east of the island, it managed to keep the old original character of the village. During our stop, we shall admire the harbour packed with the ‘Luzzu’ the typical Maltese fishing boat with a pair of eyes fixed on the front of these wooden boats to ward evil spirits

Blue Grotto

The Blue Grotto is a cave with a natural arch surrounded with crystal clear blue sea. Weather permitting , a 20 minutes boat ride takes people inside the cave and the surrounding cliffs

Hagar Qim Temples

Hagar Qim temples are 5600 years old, build during the temple period. These temples where build with massive stone slabs which weigh 5 , 10 and even 20 tonnes each. Surrounded with countryside, one can still feel a strong presence of the past.

Mdina

Mdina is the old capital city of Malta build 200 meters above sea level on top of a hill. Surrounded with massive fortifications one can enjoy fantastic panoramic views of the islands from its’ walls. It served as the capital city from antiquity to medieval times. The city displays an interesting mix of medieval narrow winding streets and 17th century baroque palaces and churches.
