Throughout the years, Valletta has welcomed emperors, heads of state, artists and poets and is now the permanent seat of the Maltese government.<\/p>\n<h2>Valletta UNESCO world heritage site<\/h2>\n<p>Dotted with quaint caf\u00e9s and wine bars, this UNESCO city is today one of Malta&#8217;s main tourist attractions, hosting among others, the majestic <a title=\"St Johns Cathedral Valletta\" href=\"http:\/\/maltaprivateguide.com\/st-johns-cathedral-valletta\/\">St John&#8217;s Co- Cathedral<\/a>, the Grand Masters Palace, the imposing bastions and a treasure of priceless paintings.
