A superb guided tour taking you off the beaten track to some of the more secluded areas which most visitors do not have the opportunity of exploring.
This tour starts with a drive to the north east of the island passing by Malta’s eastern coast road, the Salina Saltpans and several watch towers built by the Knights of St’John. We will continue to the north east of the island and visit the village of Mellieha which overlooks the beautiful Mellieha Bay. Here you can admire the old church and visit the sanctuary. Here we will also stop for a photo break of the Popeye’s Village and drive to the Golden Bay, one of the most picturesque sandy beaches.
We will drive to Mgarr, the farmer’s village located close to the west side of the island and later also visit the Dingli Cliffs which reach a height of around 253 metres – the highest place in Malta.
Not to be missed is the Girgenti valley which is renowned for its orchards and cultivated fields. Finally we stop at the village core of Siggiewi for a short break in a typical piazza which is surrounded by small local shops.
