She\u2019s a very down to earth person, humble and fun to be with.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We started the day by visiting Valletta, the capital city of Malta and immediately people from all walks of life recognised her after her participation in the Suits series. After walking around the main streets and stopping to take pictures of the main monuments, we visited <a href=\"https:\/\/maltaprivateguide.com\/st-johns-cathedral-valletta\/\">St John\u2019s Cathedral and Caravaggio<\/a> paintings and immediately Meghan Markle was impressed with all the baroque symbols carved on gilded walls and the theatrical art of the two Caravaggio paintings, the \u2018Beheading of St John\u2019 and \u2018St Jerome.\u2019 Writing on her blog, that, \u2018It took her breath away\u2019<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">After the cathedral ,we walked down republic street and at Casa Rocca Piccola, Meghan Markle met the owner of the house, Marchese De Piro. During the tour, Marches De Piro, offered her to wear the \u2018Ghonnella\u2019, which is a form of a woman head\u2019s dress and shawl which was worn back in time.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Maltese food and drink was mentioned several times by Meghan Markle and after Valletta tour, we couldn\u2019t have missed a stop at Merdiana Winery for wine tasting of D.O.C. Maltese wines. We couldn\u2019t have chosen a better day, sunny, not too hot and enjoying one of the best maltese wines on a terrace overlooking the vineyards.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Meghan Markle\u2019s great-great grandmother was born in Malta at the end of the 19th century, during the time when Malta was a British colony and the island\u2019s harbours where the Meditterranean naval base of the empire and during Markle\u2019s stay she immediately felt at home and welcomed.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Writing on her blog \u2018The Tig\u2019, she described Malta as one of the best cultural and historical countries, especially for our food and
